How to choose a basic set

  1. The devices used depend on the purpose of use and the solutions applied.

  2. 1. Select a chip

    type Standard Chip SY series
    DY series
    others
    Custom Made Chip
    material Borosilicate glass（Pyrex、TEMPAX）
    Fused quartz・・・only for Custom Made Chip
    PDMS（Polydimethylsiloxane）・・・only for Custom Made Chip

  3. 2. Select a holder compatible with the solvent to be used

    Aluminum Resistant to most chemicals but unsuitable for use with an acidic or basic solvent
    Stainless Steel Recommended if priority is placed on chemical resistance

  4. 3. Select capillary tubes

    More viscous solutions require tubes with larger diameters. If you have no particular preference, ICT-55P or ICT-30P is recommended.

  5. 4. Select chip connectors suitable for the capillary tubes

    ITJ-301 is usually recommended.

  6. 5. Select a pump according to the purpose of use of the chip

    Prepare the same number of syringes as the holes in the chip or a pneumatic pump having at least the same number of channels as the holes in the chip (see "left" or "right" in the table below). Use as many chip connectors as the holes in the chip (see the "all" column in the table below).
