All chips on this page have a size of 70 mm * 30 mm * 1.4 mm (thickness) and are made of borosilicate glass (a Pyrex equivalent).

Besides the channels for the micro fluidics, each chip has the channels to eliminate gas between glass plates when they are laminated.
They have no bad effects for your experiments.
